Beyond your initial formation, your business will have ongoing compliance obligations that require filings with state and local governments. To simplify this, Dappr offers a range of legal and filing services to help you manage these critical tasks, from filing your annual report to expanding your business into a new state.

This guide explains how to order, pay for, and track these services directly from your Dappr dashboard.

How to order a filing service

You can browse and order from our full catalog of available compliance services at any time.

  1. From the main menu, navigate to Business Records.

  2. Select Legal and filing services from the top menu.

  3. Click on the Filing services tab in the sub-menu.

This page displays a list of available services, such as Annual Reports, Foreign Qualifications, Amendments, and obtaining a Certificate of Good Standing.

To place an order:

  1. Find the service you need and click the Order button.

  2. You will be guided through a form to collect the necessary information for the filing.

  3. Complete the form and proceed to payment to finalize your order.

Tracking your orders

Dappr keeps you informed about the status of your order every step of the way. You can track its progress in two places:

  • On your main dashboard: Any ongoing filing order will appear in a status tracker on your main Dappr home page.

  • In the Orders tab: For a complete history of all your ongoing and completed orders, navigate to the Orders tab on the "Legal and filing services" page.

Understanding fees

Our filing services are structured to be transparent. The total cost consists of two parts:

  • Dappr's Service Fee: This is a one-time fee for our service in preparing and submitting the filing on your behalf.

  • Government Fees: These are mandatory fees charged by the state or local government for the filing itself. Dappr pays these fees to the government on your behalf.

In some cases, the exact government fee may not be known at the time you place your order. If this occurs, the additional fee will be invoiced to you separately once it has been determined by the government agency. Please note that Dappr may withhold the submission of your paperwork until all applicable fees have been paid in full. Fees will be charged to the primary payment method on file automatically.

All orders for these services are subject to Dappr's Filing Services Agreement.
