If you no longer need to use Dappr, you can request to have your account archived. Archiving secures your account data by making it inaccessible while preserving it for legal compliance. This is the first step if you later wish to request the deletion of your personal information.
Dappr offers financial products, including business financial accounts and payment processing, which means we are subject to laws that require us to retain certain customer data for a specific period. Because of these obligations, users cannot immediately delete their accounts. Archiving provides a secure way to deactivate your account in the interim.
Eligibility for archiving your account
You can request to have your account archived if you meet the following criteria:
You are not a legal representative of any business that is currently active on the Dappr platform.
You are not a cardholder for an active Dappr Financial Account.
Your account is in good standing, with no outstanding compliance tasks or requests for information.
How to archive your account
To begin the process, please contact the Dappr support team through the in-app chat or by sending an email to [email protected]. Our team will verify your eligibility and process the request for you.
What to expect
Once your account is archived, you can still sign in, but you will not be able to access any of your account data. This protects your information from unauthorized access. Upon signing in, a notice will appear confirming that the account is archived.
If you wish to reactivate your account, you can do so at any time by contacting our support team.
Requesting account deletion
After your account has been successfully archived, you may contact the Dappr team to request a formal assessment for data deletion. Our team will review your account to determine what information, if any, can be legally and permanently deleted in accordance with financial regulations.
